This Edmonds, mid-century, home was a perfect candidate for a kitchen remodel with a bright, open floor plan and a fresh take on traditional finishes.
The existing 1980’s style cabinetry with a peninsula resulted in a cramped and dreary kitchen, difficult to access for a family of four. Through a collaboration with our design team and the homeowners, the kitchen was transformed into a classic, attractive, and incredibly usable gathering place for friends and family.
The white shaker style cabinetry, providing ample storage, and a sparkling quartz surface is the perfect backdrop for the rustic hickory island with a rich charcoal wood stain; a dramatic centerpiece available for aspiring sous chefs, creative crafting, or hunkering down for homework. In addition, the white subway tile backsplash with a charcoal grout is a classic look with a nifty spin.
The result of this remodel is a beautiful kitchen with maximized function for the family to enjoy for many years to come. It was also a featured kitchen in the 2017 Remodeled Home Tour.
